If you and your offspring have made a family tradition of watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade live at curbside, here is a solution for escaping the cold and any other inclemencies the weatherman may have in store for that day: Join the amiable crew at Stella 34 Trattoria for the Thanksgiving Parade Party on the department store’s sixth floor restaurant on Nov. 23 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Reservations have already begun to be snapped up so make a beeline to Open Table if you don’t want to get left out in the cold literally.

Highlights of the brunch menu, served during the early morning hours, will include fresh bagels and pastries plus a breakfast buffet (scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, tater tots). Brunch/lunch proper will include Thanksgiving-themed dishes such as roast turkey and all your favorite holiday sides. Expect cannoli among the dessert offerings. (The restaurant ain’t called trattoria for nothing.)

The one possible stumbling block for some families may be the prices: $625 for adults and $335 for children between the ages of 3 and 10. Adults in your party can toast the holiday with popular Thanksgiving cocktails and beers while the kiddies can whet their whistles on hot cocoa, hot cider, and assorted juices.
