If you’re planning to tie the knot any time soon, and you and your betrothed love pastrami as much as (more than?) each other, here is some event planning you may want to get busy on. On Aug. 28, the Williamsburg branch of Katz’s Delicatessen will be partnering with Sweet Hearts, an outfit that plans Las Vegas-style weddings but in Brooklyn, to create a unique pop-up wedding venue. The offer is first-come first-served, so if the idea holds appeal, hurry over to the Sweet Hearts’s website to reserve a spot.

What will a wedding at the quintessential New York delicatessen be like (apart from the heavenly smells of pickled meat)? According to Timeout:

Participants will receive a 75-minute “Heart Spot” that includes a ceremony in front of the Sweet Hearts’ hearts installation at Katz’s, a photography session with Edward Winter Photography, a Sweet Hearts “Honeymoon in a Bag” and celebratory platters featuring Katz’s legendary hand-carved pastrami and corned beef for the lucky couple and up to six guests. Oh, and the eternal bragging rights of being able to say, “I got married at Katz.” The cost of this once-in-a-lifetime experience is $2,500.
