Wednesday, Jan. 17, is National Ditch Your Resolution Day — the day set aside for abandoning your New Year’s resolutions. To help you engage in this act of supreme cynicism and to promote its new line of “Sourdough Melts,” Panera Bread is giving away 1,000 of the sandwiches.
No purchase is necessary but there are two hurdles you need to clear in order to claim your free sandwich. First you need to be a member of the MyPanera app, which you can sign up for here. Second, you need to use the promo code “BREADSOGOOD” at checkout to get the sandwich for free. Naturally, the earlier you place your order, the better.
There are two Sourdough Melt combinations. The “Bacon Avocado Melt” combines applewood-smoked bacon with fresh avocado, smoked gouda, everything bagel seasoning, and chipotle aïoli on the bakery’s “Country Rustic Sourdough.”
The “Southwest Chicken Melt” features smoked, antibiotic-free pulled chicken smoked gouda, red onion, cilantro, and chipotle aïoli on the Country Rustic Sourdough.
