If, like me, you prefer to destress after a hectic day of Christmas shopping by lingering over a cocktail but are feeling inflation’s pinch this year, don’t go home dejected. Go to Hortus NYC, the modern Asian restaurant in NoMad, which is slashing 20% off cocktails as a means to acquaint restaurant-goers with its new bar menu.

The cocktails, which are Asian-themed, include “Oolong High” — a blend of soju, oolong tea, lemon, and cane sugar — and “Piña” made with with Jinro, lime, and mint, garnished with a chipotle pineapple chip.

Among the food selections you will find slice steak mounded high with shishito peppers  and crispy garlic chips, and fried calamari paired with sticks of the mung bean paste nokdu and kimchi.

The bar menu is served from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Hortus NYC, 271 Fifth Avenue (bet. 29th and 30th Sts.), 646-858-3784.
