In our last fast food trivia quiz, which ran in August of 2022, we asked readers to identify the chain that sells pig’s blood and century eggs pizza. The answer was Pizza Hut Taiwan.

Now for a limited time, the Hong Kong branch of the chain is offering another exotic topping: snake. CNN Travel reports that Pizza Hut has teamed up with the hundred-year-old restaurant Ser Wong Fun to put a modern spin on a traditional dish.

“The new offering combines shredded snake meat, black mushrooms and Chinese dried ham — all indispensable ingredients of an authentic snake stew and part of the Hong Kong franchise’s marketing plot to generate buzz online.”

In a statement before the dish went on sale last week, Pizza Hut Hong Kong noted that “the snake meat becomes richer in taste” when “paired with cheese and diced chicken.”

There are no plans to bring the snake pizza to the U.S., but if you ask nicely the company might send you a pie.

How You Can Score a Dozen Free Donuts on Monday

Monday is World Kindness Day. To celebrate the holiday, the donut chain Krispy Kreme is giving away a dozen of its original glazed donuts, no purchase necessary, to the first 500 customers. (Note that the offer is good at participating stores only.)

In an announcement, Global Chief Brand Officer Dave Skena said, “World Kindness Day is an opportunity to make a positive difference by being generous — from paying it forward to meaningfully connecting with each other. Simple gestures of caring and thanks, including sharing a sweet treat, is a great way to do that.”
