Tomorrow is Veterans Day — a day set aside for honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces. A number of restaurant chains salute the men and women who served our country and those who are still on active duty by feeding them for free.

Here is a glimpse of participating restaurants and what they offer.

Applebee’s is offering active duty military, veterans and reserves/National Guard members who dine in a free full-size main course. There are seven meals to choose from. These include a 6 oz. top sirloin, classic bacon cheeseburger, chicken tenders platter, double crunch shrimp, fiesta lime chicken, oriental chicken salad, and three-cheese chicken penne. Qualified customers will also receive a $5 Bounce Back Card to use on their next dine-in, to-go, or delivery order during a three-week period.

Buffalo Wild Wings will serve past and present armed services members with a valid ID a free order of 10 boneless wings and fries. The deal is available only for dine-in orders.

Red Lobster will hand out meal vouchers good for an order of “Veterans Shrimp & Chips” to customers who present a valid military ID or proof of service. The dish features six hand-breaded, butterflied, and fried shrimp, served with cocktail sauce, fries, and coleslaw. The vouchers will be given out from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Veterans Day and may be redeemed beginning Monday, Nov. 13, through Sunday, Dec. 10, for dine-in only.

Dunkin’ will be saluting retired and active military with a free donut of their choice. The offer is good at participating restaurants.

Krispy Kreme will also be giving out free donuts and small coffees, hot or iced, to veterans. The offer is limited to one per qualified customer for in-shop and drive-thru only.
