This summer, WhistlePig, purveyor of a line of aged whiskeys and bourbon, is bringing its Small Batch Rye Aged 10 Years and PiggyBack 100 Proof Bourbon to the city in the hopes of winning converts.
Every Friday through the the end of August, the WhistlePig brand will be popping up in a different bar somewhere in the city to provide gratis samples of cocktails made with its product, including a Manhattan made with 10 Year Rye, a Maple Old Fashioned, and a Maple Bourbon Sour.

Where’s the Beef?
It’s been almost a half century since that tagline was used in an ad campaign on behalf of Wendy’s, but the line may be making a comeback this summer in Thailand, where Burger King is debuting its newest sandwich. Called the “Real Cheeseburger,” the item is stacked high with nearly two dozen slices of American cheese. As for the beef … well, there isn’t any. Nowhere in this mountain of processed dairy will you find even the skinniest hint of a burger patty, or anything else.
