Cicada, the chef team of Grace Model and chef Fred Taylor, will be popping up at Grand Army Bar in Boerum Hill this Sunday, Jan. 7.

The couple, whose self-proclaimed mission is re-envisioning the cuisine of the mid-Atlantic region, met as line cooks at Toro in Boston. They have remained together ever since, nurturing the dream of someday opening a restaurant.

The menu planned for Sunday will open with hamachi partnered with Asian pear, shiso, brown butter, and yuzu. Other offerings will include crab-stuffed chicken wings, duck liver mousse with smoked shallot and apple mostarda, and pepper-cured duck breast in a green curry with potato.
