Tequila consumption in the U.S., once unheard of outside the realm of Margaritas, has risen dramatically in recent years and is on a pace to rise by 5.13% from now through 2022.

Is it any wonder there is now a National Tequila Day to go along with all the other food and drink holidays?

This year’s National Tequila Day falls on Monday, June 23, and if you’re looking to hoist a glass to commemorate the popular spirit, you’re advised to head over to Park Avenue Tavern. There between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m., cocktail curator Will Benedetto will offer an agave class to thirsty imbibers.

In addition to the class, tickets, which go for $30, will buy participants two Margaritas and two tacos from a make-your-own-taco bar.

Tickets may be purchased here.
