Chef Michael Chiarello, whom fans will remember for his Emmy-winning series “Easy Entertaining With Michael Chiarello,” which ran for 10 seasons on Food Network, has died. He was 61.

His company Gruppo Chiarello announced the death in a statement reading:

“We deeply mourn the loss of our beloved patriarch Michael. His culinary brilliance, boundless creativity, and unwavering commitment to family were at the core of his being. He brought people together through the joy of shared meals, fostering lasting memories around the table.”

Chiarello also hosted shows on PBS and the Fine Living and Cooking Channel for a decade, additionally making guest appearances on the “Today” show and “The View.”

The cause of death has been listed as an allergic reaction that led to anaphylactic shock.
