Every year around this time, alternatives to the standard Thanksgiving dinner appear. One year it’s a line of sodas that mimic all the holiday flavors such as “Turkey & Gravy” and “Green Bean Casserole.” The next it’s a pie with six pre-cut slices — one containing turkey, another stuffing, a third mashed potatoes … you get the picture.

While these solutions all smack of gimmickry, this year’s departure from the norm may appeal to some. DiGiorno, the company that advertises that its frozen pizzas taste freshly made, is releasing a limited-edition Thanksgiving pizza. Unlike the pie described above, this one promises all the flavors of Thanksgiving in every bite. The pizza features a thick Detroit-style crust that is studded with chunks of turkey, diced sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberries, gravy, two kinds of cheese, and a crispy onion topping.

If you’d like to get in on the ground floor of what may be a new holiday trend, be advised that a “limited number” of the pies will be sold every Wednesday through Nov. 22 at the DiGiorno website. The price per pie is $11.23 (which, as Food & Wine notes, is the date of Thanksgiving).
