The next best thing to eating Auntie Anne’s pretzels is smelling like them. That would appear to be the message behind Knead, Eau de Pretzel, a newly released fragrance that smells like the pretzel lady’s mall-side offerings.
“There are few scents more recognizable than the aroma of Auntie Anne’s,” Julie Younglove-Webb, Chief Brand Officer at Auntie Anne’s,” is quoted as saying in a press release, adding:
Smell is a special and powerful sense. Over the years, fans have shared their memories and experiences that began with just a whiff of our pretzels. We’ve bottled that moment and can’t wait for fans to enjoy it in a whole new way.
If you’re interested in seeing whether Knead is the scent for you, Auntie Anne’s opened New York’s first Pretzel perfumery earlier this month at 433 Broadway in Soho. The fragrance comes in 1-ounce and 3.4-ounce bottles for $25 and $45, respectively.
