Are you planning to attend the St. Patrick’s Day parade on Monday, March 17? If you are, get your Irish on before the parade with a traditional Bricfeasta Éireannach (that’s “Irish breakfast” for those whose Irish Gaelic is rusty) at Park Ave Kitchen by David Burke’s Cafe.
The ample repast, which will be served from 7 to 11 a.m., will consist of bangers, baked beans, scrambled eggs, roasted mushrooms and tomatoes, blood sausage, white pudding, fresh baked soda bread from Chef Burke’s own Dixie Lee Bakery, and coffee or tea. Priced at $30 per person, the feast will be complemented by a fall bar. (Yes, Guinness will be on hand.)
Chef Burke’s culinary celebration of his Irish heritage will continue during lunch and dinner at Park Ave Kitchen with such specials as corned beef and cabbage, sheperd’s pie, St. Paddy’s melts and Irish whiskey-flavored ice cream.
Reserve by visiting www.parkavekitchenbydb.com or phone 646-847-4166.
Park Ave Kitchen by David Burke, 514 Lexington Avenue (at 48th St.).
