Were you paying close attention to the action in the admittedly exciting fourth quarter of the big game last night? If so and you’re a Taco Bell fanatic, you were looking in the wrong place. During its ad in the last quarter, the fast food chain announced that anyone who was already a Taco Bell Rewards recipient or who signed up by 11:59 p.m. PST last night, would be treated to “something saucy” … eventually. What that treat is will remain a big secret until May 19, which is the date of the big reveal.
According to Comicbook, those already enrolled in the program or who signed up last night by a minute before midnight received a text containing an image of a hand holding a brown-paper Taco Bell bag with the advice:
Something saucy is coming 5/19.
Consider this note an IOU for a surprise reward coming your way 5/19. Stay tuned for updates.
If you are banging your head against the wall because you used that fourth-quarter commercial timeout for a bathroom break, you have my sympathies.
