You get two bites of the apple — make that bonbon — when the Chocolate Expo hits the tristate area later this month. The first local iteration will be in Edison, N.J. a week from today on Mar. 13, the second at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, on Mar. 27. Both events will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

More than 60 vendors will be on hand, providing samples of their sweet wares. Gourmet foods, baked goods, cheeses, wine, spirits, cider, and craft sodas will also be available. Those attending the expo in Garden City will additionally be treated to admission to the museum, where a movie will be shown in the JetBlue Airways Planetarium Theater.

Tickets, which may be purchased here, are $40 for VIP tickets, $20 for adult general admission, and $15 for children. (VIP ticket holders will receive an insulated Chocolate Expo shopping bag.) Special discounted tickets that are good only for the last two hours of the expo can be purchased in advance for $15 and at the door for $20.
