On back-to-back weekends in March — March 17 and 18, and March 24 and 25 — the New York Dessert Festival will be making its fourth annual appearance.
The event is the brainchild of Liang Shi, a brands designer, and Miraya Berke, a party planner, who perceived a gap on the city events calendar. Dessert Goals was born, and with the NYDF.
This year’s festival will be held at Sound River Studios in Long Island City, just 5 minutes by subway from Midtown. The venue includes an outdoor deck on the water with panoramic views of the skyline.
But the real action will be inside, where exclusive dessert offerings by Supermoon Bakehouse, Rebecca’s Cake Pops, Mochidoki and other sweet sources will be yours for the tasting. The planners have even included a savory Salt Bar to “cleanse your palette” between sweet bites.
A list of participants may be found here, and tickets can be ordered here. General admission is $17, but hurry up if you’re interested. Many of the time slots have already been sold out.
