When the quirky Brooklyn bistro Grindhaus closed suddenly late last year at the ripe old age (in New York restaurant years) of 15, all it left behind for its legions of fans was a cryptic message on Instagram reading “Grindhaus has gone dark. No further questions at this time.”

Now comes word that the restaurant is reopening on Valentine’s Day with a new branding — Ourhaus — and a message that is only slightly less cryptic than its previous one: “We are lookin’ forward to welcoming back our friends and lovers on 2/14. Join our emailing list and follow us on insta for further announcements.”

A seeming preview of coming attractions can be discerned from its new Instagram page, which includes among other things a glimpse of the “Po’ Bao,” (above).
