Who wants pi? No, that was not a typo. Pi Day (3/14) is just around the corner, and this year, some tasty possibilities beckon.

The Cooking Place at Fairway Market (2131 Broadway), try your hand at pie-making like a professional. Prepare and then eat miniature pizzas and savory and sweet pies of all shapes and sizes. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests must be 17 and over.

Whole pies will be available for pre-order only at a cost of $42 per pie. Orders must be placed by Wednesday, March 11 by 5 p.m.

Limited slices will also be available for purchase on Saturday, March 14 starting at 5 p.m.
