Leading kosher food purveyor Manischewitz is at it again, expanding its extensive line of traditional Jewish offerings to capture a wider audience of home cooks and food enthusiasts. Its latest is that most American of foods, the New York-style all-beef hot dog.
Embracing the company’s more youthful package design and motto — “Where Flavor Meets Tradition!” — the hot dogs will be sold in the refrigerator sections of supermarkets and specialty stores in both regular and low-fat options at an SRP of $9.00 for a package of six hot dogs. A Kosher for Passover version will introduced in time for the holiday.
With the launch of its hot dogs, the company hopes to meet the needs of both kosher consumers and those exploring Jewish cuisine. The launch will be supported by an extensive marketing campaign, including billboards, social media outreach, print ads, and a digital blitz.
