Gentlemen, start your forks.

Breakfast chain IHOP has announced the return of its all-you-can-eat pancakes special, but this year with a twist. The promotion, which usually falls at the beginning of the year, is timed this year to coincide with the back-to-school season to “help families when schedules are tight and wallets are pinched from shopping,” a press release explains. The deal is being offered through Sept. 15.

Pancake lovers can cash in on the promo in two ways. The first is to order a breakfast combo. Every combo comes with a short stack of pancakes (two pancakes), which are replenished on request at no additional charge. Alternatively, they can go “straight pancake.” That is, they can start with a full stack of pancakes for just $5, followed by a free short stack with each additional order.
