If the promise of “unique eats” is not enough to lure you to Deer Park on Long Island for Labor Day, how about a beer and wine lounge, cooking demos, an escape room, axe throwing, and even a kids section?
All can be found from Sept. 3 through 6 at the “Taste the World” festival. The event will feature over 60 food vendors representing countries all around the world. A list of past vendors and/or their edible wares can be found here.
Tickets, which may be purchased here, are $7 if paid for in advance and $12 at the “door.” Combination packages may be purchased for three days. Children 10 and under free.
The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. each of the days.
