If you can’t make it to Japan this spring to admire the cherry blossoms as they burst into bloom, you can at least get a taste of the annual tradition at Café Kitsuné in the West Village, which is hosting a Hanami (“flower viewing”) market tomorrow, March 11, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. The one-day-only event is being presented by artisanal chocolatier Deux Cranes and will feature a grand abundance of spring florals to feast the eyes on. A host of edible enticements from Japanese vendors will be on hand as well, including cakes, strawberries, and even a bento box filled with sweet instead of savory treats. A complete list of participants can be found here. Reservations are free, with food items individually priced. Café Kitsuné, 550 Hudson Street (at Perry St.), 646-755-8158.
