If you routinely end up with bags of leftover candy on Halloween, this year there is an alternative to tossing it or — worse yet — eating it yourself. HealthyWage, a health and wellness company that provides weight loss and fitness challenges with cash prizes, will pay you hard, cold cash for your excess candy. Via their “Cash for Candy” program, HealthyWage will pay $10 per pound of candy up to $100 per person.
Through the initiative, any individual can donate his excess, unwanted, unopened candy to Operation Shoebox on or before Nov. 22, 2022 and receive payment for it. In so doing, moreover, donors will support America’s troops overseas, who will receive these goodies in the form of care packages from home.
