According to the calendar, Halloween comes only once a year, but try telling that to Flying Fox Tavern in Ridgewood, Queens where the holiday is celebrated all year long. Flying Fox self-identifies as a classic horror bar, so fittingly their singular annual event is their “Feast of the Vampires,” a two-day extravaganza with four seatings each night. The centerpiece of the immersive dinner experience is a four-course prix fixe menu priced at $66. The menu (which is subject to change) includes such ghoulish enticements as roasted bone marrow with bacon marmalade, and hanger steak with brandied cherries, purple kale, and sweet potato puree. A full menu and tickets may be found here.

The Feast of the Vampires is scheduled for Oct. 28 and 29.
