Benoit, Alain Ducasse’s bistro in Midtown, will turn 15 this year. To celebrate that not inconsiderable achievement (in New York 80% of restaurants fail in their first year), the house will welcome a program of guest chefs for a five-week period beginning tomorrow, Sept. 8.
The lineup will include Emma Bengtsson of Aquavit (Sept. 8), Stefano Secchi of Rezdôra (Sept. 15), Guillaume Ginther of Daniel Boulud’s Le Gratin (Sept. 22), Eunji Lee of Lysée (Sept. 29), James Kent of SAGA (Oct. 6), and Master Sommelier Pascaline Lepeltier (Oct. 12).
Each of the chefs will bring along a signature dish of his or her own, but Benoit’s regular menu will be available for diners who opt to go that route.
Benoit, 60 West 55th Street, 646-943-7373.
