Mark your calendar. On June 27, Farm. One, the hydroponic, indoor, vertical farm in Prospect Heights, will provide the greens, herbs, and flowers for a walkaround pop-up tasting party with queer Taiwanese chef and food writer Jessie YuChen. Bites and cocktails inspired by Taiwanese flavors will be featured, and the plants used in the recipes will be harvested right before the event: You can’t get any fresher than that.

Featured bites will include a watermelon salad with shiso, black sesame, kong yen black vinegar, and chili; a shrimp burger with greenwave mustard, egg salad, and cabbage; and fried mantou (aka, Chinese steamed buns) combined with micro cilantro, peanuts, and coconut milk. Cocktails, too, including Sesame Streets (sesame, lavender, and kavalan whiskey) and Peggy (strawberry preserve, lemon basil, kaoliang, and kong yen black vinegar).

Tickets for the event, which will also include include mini guided tours of the farm, are priced at $85 and must be pre-booked at Tock. Note that there are two time slots — one from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and one from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Farm.One, 625 Bergen Street, Brooklyn, 646-600-5146.
