Veselka, the popular East Village haunt noted for its rib-sticking food, has opened a satellite restaurant in Grand Central Terminal. The move comes 7 months after the purveyor of Ukrainian food announced it would be opening a branch in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The menu at Veselka Grand Central Terminal is a compilation of its classics, among them pierogi, beef stroganoff, and stuffed cabbage. The store will also be open for breakfast, offering such enticements as a fried egg on a challah knot and assorted muffins.
The location in Grand Central will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and weekends 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Veselka Grand Central Terminal, 89 E. 42nd Street, 212-228-9682.
