This Saturday, Apr. 19 from noon to 6 P.M., Threes Brewing in Gowanus will host Allagash Brewing Company’s annual “Saison Day” celebration, highlighting one of beer brewing’s most beloved and versatile styles with an impressive lineup of saisons. (Saison — a farmhouse ale style known for its crisp character and fruit notes, allowing for creative interpretation while maintaining a distinctive profile — showcases the heart of what makes brewing an art form with each brewery bringing its unique perspective to this traditional beer.)
Saturday’s event will feature popular favorites and special releases from Threes Brewing and Allagash, alongside guest taps and bottles from other renowned breweries including Oxbow Brewing Company, Fox Farm Brewery, Forest & Main Brewery, Wild East Brewing Company and Hill Farmstead Brewery.
Threes’ culinary partner, Grand Army South, will be offering food specials for the day to complement the complex flavors of these farmhouse ales, such as karaage calamari, Japanese-style crispy fried calamari, served with wasabi mayo and a togarashi lemon half.
Threes Brewing, 333 Douglass Street, Brooklyn.
