If you’ve been to a past edition of the National BBQ Festival, you know these competitions are serious business. How serious? Serious enough to draw live-fire pitmasters from all over the country. Serious enough to warrant a cash prize of $100,000 to the winning team.

The weekend-long event, to be held in Nassau County’s Eisenhower Park, will commence on Friday, June 13, at 4 P.M. and run through the remainder of the weekend. Tickets, which cover unlimited BBQ samples and access to a beer and wine garden, cooking demos, live music and entertainment, and family-friendly activities, may be purchased here. General admission is $40. Children ages 3 to 12, are admitted for $20.
