Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? PJ Bernstein, a family-owned, traditional Jewish deli that has been slinging corned beef and pastrami from the same location on the Upper East Side for over five decades, is now accepting cryptocurrencies as payment for everything from a nosh to one of its towering sandwiches.

Following a trend embraced by the Broome Street bistro La Sirene and other New York restaurants earlier this year, the multi-generational delicatessen and full-service restaurant will be accepting most coins traded through Coinbase, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin.
