To celebrate the occasion, which is today, March 6, Nabisco is giving away one million free Oreo candy bars.
For you food history buffs, Oreos were first produced in 1912 at a Chelsea Market bakery in Manhattan. Since that time, more than 500 billion of the cookies have been sold.
