If you have a child or grandchild who is into Barbie (or — fess up — you’ve never quite gotten over your own childhood fascination with the blonde, blue-eyed princess), you’ll want to join her and Ken for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or brunch at Malibu Barbie Cafe New York.
The pretty-in-pink pop-up, located on Fulton Street, will remain open through the end of May with daily seatings beginning at 10 a.m. and running as late as 8:15 p.m.
In addition to chowing down on the likes of Pacific Paradise Rainbow Pancakes and a California Dreamin’ Club Sandwich (both on the adult menu), you are invited to get dirty (in a sandbox, that is), have your picture taken with a life-size Barbie, or just chill while while listening to iconic pop tunes. Beer, wine, and cocktails are available.
Seats start at $25 for a single at the bar and range as high as $125 for a table that accommodates up to six. Early bird pricing is $22-$30 for kids and $39-$49 for adults depending on off-peak/peak dates and times.
Malibu Barbie Cafe New York, 19 Fulton Street.
