Where will your head be on May 11 and 12 this year? If you’re a devotee of contemporary Asian music and food, your answer should be “in the clouds.” On those dates, the Head In The Clouds New York Music & Arts Festival will be returning to New York, to Forest Hills Stadium in Queens.
This year’s musical lineup will include Atarashii Gakko!, Balming Tiger, eyedress, dhruv, and Juliet Ivy, to name a few.
For foodies, the stadium’s concourse will feature offerings from some of the city’s most popular Asian dining destinations including the Potluck Club, in Chinatown; the East Village izakaya TabeTomo; and Tomokase, a sister restaurant of The Office of Mr. Moto.
For the second year in a row, a portion of ticket sales will go to Heart of Dinner, a non-profit organization whose goal is to eliminate food insecurity, social isolation, and loneliness among Asian American older adults living in under-resourced communities.
