With the sorts of temperatures we’ve been having lately, you wouldn’t be alone if you found yourself longing for a blizzard — some respite from the intense heat.
This coming Sunday, July 15, New Yorkers will get their wish. Grand Bazaar NYC on W. 77th Street will be featured a summer ice cream blizzard.
Coordinated with National Ice Cream Day, which falls on the same day, the city’s premier artisanal ice cream makers will be on hand to cool you down with some of their delightfull chilling offerings.
The event is free, though a donation is requested. One hundred percent of the proceeds go toward four local public schools, which together over 4,000 children.
In addition to the cool and creamy stuff, you will find over 100 artists, designers, craft-makers, vintage dealers. and food vendors.
