The short answer is no. Though in the past few days, the media have been promoting a survey that seems to suggest just that.

The supposed linkage lies in the name of the beer and the dreaded virus that has all of us on edge. The beer is named for the Sun’s corona. The coronavirus is reportedly named for the crownlike appearance of the pathogen as seen under a microscope.
“So how can it be that 38 percent of Americans are afraid of a Mexican beer giving them coronavirus?” The survey was evidently flawed, as was the manner in which it was reported by the news media.
In other words, you’re safe drinking Corona or any other beer produced in Mexico. You’re not going to get sick from it unless you drink too much, but that would be the case even if there were no pandemic.
