Come celebrate the “holeyest” of foods in downtown Brooklyn at CityPoint this coming Sunday, Jan. 15, as the first-ever BagelFest BKLYN Winter Games 2023 get underway.
And when they say games, they mean GAMES. There will be bagel rolling (rollers compete to see who can be the quickest to roll 100 bagels), bagel relays, a bagel toss, Bagel Connect 4, bagel stacking, and bagel curling.
When you tire of playing with your food, you eat it. The $39 admission fee covers the cost of a bagel flight (enjoy 5 unique mini-bagel sandwiches from Acme Smoked Fish, Zucker’s Bagels & Smoked Fish, Utopia Bagels, and Bagel Point) and a mimosa.
For an additional $25, you can take part in a bagel eating contest. The contestant able to scarf down the most bagels in an allotted time period takes home a $500 cash prize.
