No, not a box of ready-to-cook pasta, but a necklace consisting of a single 14-karat gold noodle strung on a 16-inch gold chain.
This latest mash-up is a collaboration between Kraft Heinz, maker of Kraft Mac & Cheese, and a jewelry outfit called Ring Concierge, which is selling the Kraft Mac & Cheese Forever Macaroni Necklace in limited batches. The first batch dropped this past Wednesday.
Alyssa Galiardo, the associate brand communications manager at Kraft Mac & Cheese, said of the collab in an interview with Food & Wine:
For nearly a century, Kraft Mac & Cheese has given moms fun, delicious, and trusted ways to care for their families at mealtime. This Mother’s Day, we’re offering families the ultimate way to say thank you, with an elevated twist on a timeless tradition. We hope families feel good knowing each time mom catches a glimpse of the golden noodle, she’ll remember special moments spent with her family, especially those enjoyed together over a bowl of Kraft Mac & Cheese.
The noodle pendant is 19 mm × mm 4 mm, and the cable chain is 16 inches × 4 mm. The price is $25, and the necklace is being sold exclusively by Ring Concierge.
Oh, and lest we forget, the necklace is presented in a blue box — Kraft Mac & Cheese royal blue, no less.
