All told, there will 64 flavors and 9 tons of ice cream. And here is your invitation (challenge?) to eat as much as you can and want.
It’s Scooper Bowl, and it is underway now and continuing through tomorrow, June 3. Participating vendors, of which there are 13 in all, include Ben & Jerry’s, Van Leeuwen, and Big Gay Ice Cream. Among the flavors, expect to find Cannoli Be With You, Gimme Smore, Salty Pimp, and Rocky Roadhouse, alongside more familiar entries. A full list of vendors and flavors may be found here.
Proceeds will go to the Jimmy Fund, which supports pediatric and adult cancer care and research at Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, one of the nation’s leading academic rehabilitation institutions committed to patient care, teaching, research and advocacy.
