Each year the Chicago River is dyed green for St. Patrick’s Day. Not to be outdone, Watermark, a waterfront restaurant down at the Seaport, is all pretty in pink in time for Valentine’s Day. “Whether you’ve been struck by Cupid’s arrow or want to enjoy a night with people you love,” reads the copy on the attraction’s website, “this entirely pink pier is the perfect place to come together for Date night, Birthdays, Happy Hour, Valentine’s Day & beyond!”

From now through March 31, you can get in on the action for as little as $17. Tickets, which may be obtained here, include admission and access to the Pink Pier’s photo moments, a 90-minute table reservation inside a Pink Igloo, and a 3-course dining experience complete with charcuterie for the table, one main dish per guest (a kids menu is available), and a choice of pink cheesecake or macaroons for dessert. Cocktails are available for purchase separately.

Watermark, 78 South Street, at Pier 15.

If Goldfish Crisps be the food of love…

Despite there being more than 75 million dating app users worldwide, it sometimes feels as though there just aren’t enough fish in the sea. This Valentine’s Day, Pepperidge Farm, makers of Goldfish snack crackers, is adding more fish to the sea (the snacking sea, that is) in the form of new, irresistible Goldfish Crisps.
