What do beer, wrestling, and pastry have in common? All are on the menu at the second annual Pastrytown, which is coming to Industry City, Brooklyn on March 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
According to the event’s website, “Your favorite dessert flavors [are] ready to climb in the ring for an all out battle of flavor! Coffee suplexing chocolate, vanilla piledriving cherry, cereal crunching cinnamon to a fine powder. The result is a Pastrytown extravaganza sweeter and rowdier than last year.”
If you’re still unsure of what to expect, this video mix from last year’s event might help.
Then again, it might not.
General admission tickets, which go for $100, include four hours unlimited beer tastings more than 40 breweries, NYWC wrestling matches throughout the day, a Pastrytown 2020 keepsake tasting glass, beer and dessert pairings, and access to food vendors in the Industry City food court, the last of these presumably to renew your capacity for further imbibing.
The “all-in” package, at $300, allows you early access to all the attractions enumerated above, plus a whole slew of beer to take home, including a few draft picks (get it? “draft” picks) to be announced at a later date.
Tickets may be purchased here.
