I don’t know about you, but I get tired of ordering the old same old, same old while New York’s restaurants are shuttered. Imagine my delight when I learned that my cravings for a prime restaurant-grade steak could be accommodated. STK Steakhouse, which has three branches in New York, is answering the need of steak lovers with a special take-out menu that is also available for delivery in selected markets. The new menu features signature appetizers, main courses, and side dishes, as well as a selection of premium steaks from Meats by Linz. Among the offerings for home consumption are a surf & turf special that includes an 8-ounce filet and lobster tail for $59.
What’s that, you say? You want your steak with a Brazilian twist? No problemo. Fogo de Chão on West 53rd Street just launched Fogo To-Go, which offers a myriad of take-out selections available for curbside pickup or, again, delivery in selected markets. Offerings embrace individual meals that include a 6- or 10-ounce meat entrée, plus two sides of your choice. In an effort to help customers avoid visits to the butcher, the chain has also initiated Freshly Carved by Fogo, which allows you to purchase fresh, expertly-butchered meat available by the pound for pick-up or delivery.
But, you say, what about an appropriate beverage to wash down all that goodness? The Jeffrey, which specializes in craft beers, cocktails, and “bites,” has you covered. The bar and restaurant, on East 60th Street, delivers from noon to 10 p.m. All cocktails to go are $10.
