This coming Friday, June 7, is National Donut Day. What that means of course is that Dunkin will be giving away “free” donuts (one to a customer). The quotes around the word free are there to inform you the offer requires you to purchase a beverage.

But that’s not the only news from the donut giant. Starting tomorrow, Dunkin will be partnering with Scrub Daddy to sell donut-shaped versions of the treated kitchen sponges. You can buy one, should you be so inclined, at ScrubDaddy.com.

Happy Hour at Sagaponack

It’s not National Oyster Day, but that hasn’t stopped the Mediterranean-and-Asian-themed seafood restaurant Sagaponack from selling oysters for a buck a piece during their summer “happy hour,” Monday to Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. In addition to the dollar oysters, there are shooters for $4, cocktails for $9, and beer and wine for $5.
