Ramen for Breakfast
Cup O’Noodles: It’s been a long time since I’ve thought about that college dorm room staple, let alone slurped down a cup. It’s been so long that I wasn’t aware that Nissin Foods, the company behind it, had changed the name of the product to Cup Noodles back in 1993.
Whatever you choose to call it, the instant meal in a cup is making headlines over its new flavor: breakfast. (Who knew breakfast was a flavor?) After you add the boiling water and wait four minutes, you get noodles “in sauce” (as opposed to broth) and evincing flavors that include “pancakes, sweet maple syrup, and hearty sausage and eggs.”
