On Thursday, Oct. 30, from 6 p.m. through closing, BA53MENT, Midtown’s newest speakeasy, will celebrate the Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) with a special collaboration between the bar’s head bartender Aaron Kim and Giulio Guarini (Dover Yard at 1 Mayfair Hotel, London’s acclaimed cocktail bar).
Guests can expect an imaginative cocktail menu (crafted by Tequila Enemigo) and Asian-inspired light bites, with highlights like Jasmine Drift (Enemigo Blanco Tequila, banana, Mancino Ambrato, lime, jasmine, lavender) and Spiced Pumpkin Latte (Enemigo Blanco Tequila, Mancino Ambrato, verjus, fig, ginger, and bitters).
Costume attire is optional, though should you choose to dress for the occasion, calavera-inspired decorations are encouraged. The entrance to BA53MENT is accessible through a discreet red door.
