If there’s one thing that can be said about the annual New York City Wine & Food Festival (NYCWFF), it is that it gets around. Last year the city’s largest and most varied tasting event was headquartered at the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park. The year before that, it was anchored to Pier 76 in Hudson River Park.
This year the backdrop for the festival will be the newly refurbished Seaport, which is worth a visit on its own. Attendees can look forward to more than 50 events spanning five days, from Oct. 17 through Oct. 20. Among the food scene luminaries donating their time and talent are Bobby Flay, Padma Lakshmi, and Marcus Samuelsson.
As in previous years, attendees can expect a plethora of dining experiences, walk-around tastings, cooking demos, master classes, and cocktail parties.
Tickets for all events may be purchased here. As in previous years, a large portion of the proceeds will be donated to worthy causes, including the James Beard Foundation and the The Event Zero Foundation.
