OK, you won’t hear anyone utter those words, but you will hook up with some pretty tasty ‘cue on Saturday, May 24, if you head over to Industry City for this year’s edition of Rib King NYC.
If last year’s event was any indication, competition among Brooklyn’s pitmasters will be fierce, with BBQ aficionados discovering how you top such vaunted creations as Cherry Wood-Smoked Porkstrami Ribs with Rye Bread Crumbs and Apple Honey-Smoked Jerk Ribs with Peach Cobbler Cornbread.
Tickets, which may be purchased here, are $54.45 for general admission and $81.06 for VIP, which features early admission at noon, mingling with the chefs, and a Rib King NYC t-shirt. There is also a quantity of tickets specially priced at $49.14 available on a first-come, first served basis.
