Introducing… the Never Soggy Cereal Bowl
If there’s a number one complaint from breakfast cereal consumers we have spoken to, it is the “sog” factor. Put simply, you pour your favorite cereal into a bowl, add milk, and behold: a bowl of soggy mush.
Granted that some cereal manufacturers have come out with products that they promise will still crisp — Crispix comes to mind — and there are people who enjoy mushy cereal.
But for non-Crispix fans and the rest of us, there is the never soggy cereal bowl, from Obol. The bowl is compartmentalized, with one side for cereal, the other for milk. When you are ready for a spoonful, you scoop up some cereal, dip it in the milk, and eat. That way the cereal stays dry and unsoggy throughout breakfast.
The cost, the item is available at Amazon for $18.95, is on the high side, but as a one-time investment, we judge it to be worthwhile. (Yes, you can accomplish the same task with two bowls — we tried it — but it’s a little less practical.)
