
Beginning tomorrow and recurring every Friday through September 1, BLT Prime New York will be hosting a “Summer Aperitivo Hour” between the hours or 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. The Italian-themed promotion, which is being co-sponsored by Campari, will feature $12 Aperol- and Campari-based cocktails such as spritzes and negronis. Imported wines by the glass will also be on hand, as will an array of new dishes that will be sprinkled throughout the restaurant’s appetizer and main course selections.
The menu offerings will include a prime beef carpaccio brightened by a lemon aïoli and accompanied by parmesan-and-black pepper grissini, hand-cut pappardelle in a rich and lusty bolognese-style meat sauce, and a breaded veal chop livened by a lemon-caper relish and — unique touch — a pool of the tuna-and-anchovy mayo normally associated with vitello tonnato.
