Savoring the Snow Pop-Up Dinner at Dirt Candy

Let it snow, let it snow, let’s eat. That seems to best encapsulate the message from Chef Alexis Sicklick, who will be popping up at Dirt Candy on March 7 to host a gustatory tribute to the cold white stuff itself.

Seven courses will be offered, all vegetarian, all somehow reflective of the full range of sensory experiences we associate with snow. Highlights of the menu include a Japanese pancake with yogurt, togarashi-spiced kumquat, and clementine honey; a potato galette with pretzel, caramelized cauliflower, moondrop grapes, and a leak soubise; and (of course) a “snow cone” of bergamot turmeric sherbet, kashew, kaffir lime foam, and limoncello.

There are two seatings, one at 5:30 p.m., one at 8:30 p.m. The cost of the dinner is $95. Optional beverage pairing is $35. Reservations can be made here.
