In case you were not a whiz at math in school (yo!), today is March 14, which expressed numerically is 3.14. If you’re still failing to make the connection between the date and math, 3.14 is the value of pi, which is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. (Enough of that: My head’s starting to hurt.)

In observance of Pi Day, the appropriately named Bar 314, hard by the Columbia University campus, is offering its 9-inch pan piece at only $3.14 each. The restaurant, which opened last September, has developed a following for its artisan pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven. Bar 314 also boasts an Italian cocktail program, which features 20-plus cocktails focusing on apertivos, digestifs, and Italian bitters. Bar 314, 1260 Amsterdam Avenue, at 122nd St., 646-682-7645.

Pie is, of course, an “any time” food, which means dessert as well as dinner. Toward this end, Little Pie Company will once again offer a free sugar cookie with the pi symbol to customes who purchase a large pie, which includes Grandma’s chicken potpie. Little Pie Comany, 424 W. 43 Street 212-736-4780.

More fun with numbers is available at Four & Twenty Blackbirds in Brooklyn, which is offering three slices of pie for $14. Get it? Among the flavors you can choose from are brown butter apple streusel and malted milk chocolate. Four & Twenty Blackbirds, 439 Third Avenue, Brooklyn, 718-499-2917.
